The JetCon 6300 series converts I/O signal to Ethernet messages and is equipped with one Ethernet port and multiple channels of Digital Input or mixed multiple channels of Digital Input and Output. The JetCon 6300 series provides digital input, event counter modes, digital output and pulse output modes. The flexible local logic rules and the Peer to Peer function can support users to configure point to point, point to multiple points or multiple to one operation.
The JetCon 6300 series provides a Windows Utility, Web configuration and Industrial Modbus/TCP protocol for integration. JetCon 6300 is with existed HMI/SCADA. Also, the robust aluminum case has good heat dispersion and IP31 protection. With the JetCon 6300, users can easily perform status monitoring and control the remote I/O devices.
Ethernet Based Block I/O Converter
The JetCon 6300 series is a standalone Ethernet I/O converter. It supports Din-Rail vertical mounting, where users can easily install the JetCon 6300 in the control box and construct the cables with the limited space. The JetCon 6300 series supports multiple channels of Digital Input and Digital Output. The RJ-45 Ethernet port allows users to configure the settings and the system maintenance, to poll the information/status, and to monitor I/O status & program logic rules and alarm events over network.
Industrial Modbus/TCP Compatibility
The JetCon 6300 series supports Modbus/TCP protocol, which is the most common protocol in communicating between the industrial electronic devices over TCP/IP. Modbus/TCP is complied the binary encoding of data and TCP/IP’s error detection mechanism. Typical function codes are attached to the protocol addresses to identify the meanings of each tag. Modbus/TCP allows users to monitor and control the I/O status and settings for the connected devices. Thus, the HMI and SCADA applications can easily support users to integrate the JetCon devices.

The JetCon 6350 supports simple logic rules, which allow users to activate the DO when the DI channels status changed. The logic rule is the typical IF and THEN mechanism, e.g., IF Condition_1 occurred (logic_Transmitter mode), THEN Action_1 activated (Logic_Receiver mode).
There are two logic modes, Logic_Transmitter or Logic_Receiver. The JetCon 6330 is a pure DI module. It supports Logic_Transmitter and monitorsthe DI status. The JetCon 6350 is a mixed DI/DO module, which can support both Transmitter and Receiver modes. It is also capable of monitoring DI and changes to the DO when receiving DI status changed events. |

| Peer to Peer Mode |

The JetCon 6300 series supports the Peer to Peer communications over Ethernet. The JetCon 6330 and the JetCon 6350 can communicate directly without connecting to any host PC and extra applications.
The rules can be activated by users configuring through the JetCon 6300 utility.
One or multiple IP addresses can be configured in the Transmitter mode. The event changed messages will be updated to the Receiver, which decides how to activate the action. Under this mode, technicians can request less wiring and save more time to develop users’ programs. |

Technology
Korenix JetBox 8100 Industrial Communication Computer now supports Modbus!

The Modbus Gateway is a value-added software provided by Korenix. The major function of the Modbus Gateway enables serial Modbus RTU (or Modbus ASCII) devices to communicate with Modbus TCP devices.
Modbus is an open serial communications protocol based on master/slave architecture and used to connect a supervisory computer with a remote terminal unit (RTU) in supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA).
Now JetBox 8100 Industrial Communication Computer supports Modbus. For Modbus applications, Korenix is releasing Modbus Gateway software. In such industrial environments, users can choose the OS from Linux, XPe and WinCE with the Modbus option on the

memory storages, such as CF/ICF card, DOM and HD. JetBox 9300 Series Industrial Networkign Computer also supports Modbus Gateway software with Linux on the SD card.
JetBox 8100 is designed to be implemented in restricted control boxes by its tiny volume and DIN-rail mounting. Volume and performance of JetBox 8100 makes it the perfect front-end device.
JetBox 8100 is an AMD Geode LX800 500MHz based embedded computer, system memory 256MB SDRAM default (512MB optional) and carries all major interfaces such as two USB2.0 ports, one RS-232 ports, one RS-232/422/485 ports, VGA, Audio and PS2(KB/mouse). In addition, it is equipped with one RJ-45 ports and supports daemons and web server services to making it ideal for today’s network communication environments.

Saving Energy, Saving Earth-Remote Power Consumption Monitoring and Controlling
In recent years, the threaten of global warming and the shortage of oil supply have driven people to think weather the way they consume power is efficient. More and more enterprises start to take actions on saving energy, not only for the cost, but for saving earth.
A manufacturing company in Europe has built a power consumption monitoring and controlling system for each of its office buildings, factories, and employee dormitories. It is required the system integrated into existing SCADA by OPC technology, which helps reduce the effort of creating additional programs while takes the advantage to generate analysis reports. Daily data including electricity, water and gas usage can be monitored by the central center remotely. The central center also has control over the power supply systems. The goal of the system is to turn out a green policy and to reduce the power consumption by 30% in average.
Korenix’s JetIO 6510 and JetIO 6550 are adapted to implement the system. JetIO 6510 collects data from analog flow meters while JetIO 6550 connects to digital meters, such as electric and gas meters. JetIo 6550 also provides a remote control mechanism from the central center to the power supply systems. The collected data are sent to the central center through the Ethernet backbone constructed by JetNet 4510.
