The JetNet 4506-M12 10/100 Base-TX Ethernet switch, is specifically designed for the toughest industrial environments. In combination with its IP68 design and the superb management functionality, the JetNet 4506-M12 extends your managing boundaries where no other industrial Ethernet switch can go! JetNet 4506-M12 is constructed of a rugged weather tight aluminum case and designed with six IP68 rated M12 Ethernet ports, which provide a waterproof, and dust-tight connection.
For maximum performance, each switch includes the next generation of redundancy protocol, Rapid Super Ring. This feature allows for the configuration of any two ports for extra protection against link failure and data loss due to constant vibration and heavy shock.
The JetNet 4506-M12 also includes other management features, such as port-based VLAN, QoS, IGMP snooping, SNMP and DHCP, for traffic isolation, deterministic transmission and network management.

Ultra Rugged, Ultra Longlife Enclosure
JetNet 4506-M12 is designed ultra rugged for the toughest industrial usage. The enclosure is made of strong, corrosion resistant, and noncombustible aluminum case. Each enclosure is designed with a thick 50mm top face plate, which makes JetNet 4506-M12 able to survive from constant shock and heavy impact. The aluminum case protects JetNet 4506-M12 against corrosion in environments such as, offshore, coal mines, and petrochemical factories. The noncombustible property of the case also ensures that the JetNet 4506-M12 will not emit toxic fumes when exposed to extreme high temperatures. This is the most suitable device for applications where hygiene requirements are a real concern, such as food processing, beverage bottling or pharmaceutical manufacturing.

JetNet 4010 is an industrial Managed Fast Ethernet Switch, designed with 7-10/100TX and 3-10/100 RJ-45 / 100FX SFP combo ports. The flexible 3 combo ports offer flexibility for additional fiber connections by plugging different types of 100MM SFP modules, which can support 2KM in Multi-Mode or 120KM in Single-Mode. The combo ports make port combination even easier, such as 8 RJ ports and 2 fiber ports, or 9 RJ ports and 1 fiber port. The standard 10 port Fast Ethernet switch greatly reduces total cost by up to 15% for fiber uplink network.
In addition to cost savings, the flexible design of the JetNet 4010 can adapt to the world's fastest Ring Technology by Korenix. It only takes 5ms to recover from link failure, no matter how many nodes are inside a ring, and the restore time is zero when the failed link is recovered. The patented Multiple

Super Ring provides the most flexible ring topologies, such as shared link of multiple rings, or shared unit of multiple rings, making it the best possible. The Multiple Super Ring is highly compatible to Rapid Spanning Tree by the new Dual Homing plus design. JetNet 4010 also enhances security designs, such as SSH, 802.1X, etc.
3 Flexible Fast Ethernet Combo Ports
The JetNet 4010 is designed with three combo Fast Ethernet ports. Each combo port combines one Small Form factor Pluggable (SFP) socket for 100Mbps multimode or single mode SFP transceiver, as well as one RJ-45 copper port in 10Mbps full duplex, 100Mbps half /full duplex link mode. The switch will automatically detect the priority of cable connections for each combo port. Users are able to connect two 100Mbps SFP ports of JetNet 4010 as a Fast Ethernet Fiber Redundant Ring topology and the third combo port as a fiber uplink port or an applicable port.
Rapid Dual Homing (RDH) Technology
Rapid Dual Homing (RDH) replaces Dual Homing II and can be used for ring coupling. While keeping easy configuration and multiple redundancies, the failover time is much faster (less than 5 ms) and the restore time is ZERO (seamless restoration). Uplinks can be auto detected and gathered into groups. In each group, uplinks are sorted into Primary, Secondary, and Standbys by their link speed. The uplink with the highest speed is more likely to be the active path for data transmission. Link aggregation is also integrated into RDH. An uplink can be a link or several links aggregated as a trunk, which provides better redundancy and link capacity. |

DHCP Address Allocation Using Option 82 - DHCP Option 82
For management and maintenance, industrial Ethernet devices do not use dynamic address pools as common DHCP do, instead require specific IP addresses which map to unique MAC addresses. The DHCP Option 82 guarantees that any end node receives the same IP address every time it boots.
JetNet 4506-M12 acts as a DHCP relay agent, which adds the location information to the client’s request and forwards to the DHCP server. Therefore, the DHCP server can then assign a specific IP address to the client.

Korenix JetBox 8100 Industrial Communication Computer now supports Modbus in CF card
Korenix adds Modbus support for JetBox 8100 Linux / Win CE system. You can order the optional Modbus CF card for each unit for Modbus control applications. JetBox 8100 Series can easily be the central computer in Automatic Control Systems; it collects the system signals and controls the on-site devices. It can monitor the whole control system through its Modbus Gateway functionalities by forming the control system to a simple network with Ethernet. Power Up WiMAX Base Stations in Wireless Broadband Services
Enterprises, Internet Service Providers, and Mobile Network Operators are all looking for cost-effective ways to move voice and data among multiple, separate locations at broadband speeds. The JetNet 4706 / 3706, Industrial PoE Plus managed switches, support 30 Watts per PoE port with wide power input range 24V~50VDC, which sufficiently meets the power requirements of WiMAX Stations. For the managed JetNet 4706 series, each of the four PoE ports can be configured on weekly schedule by hourly basis. PoE on/off can also be controlled remotely via SNMP or web . The two uplink ports (100M TX or 100M FX) can be configured as Rapid Super Ring ports, recovering network failure in less than 5ms.
